We are heartbroken to share the loss of this amazing lady. Reta Passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Monday, October 25, 2021 at the age of 80. She was a true gift to so many. Predeceased by her husband Jim Meeker, parents Gordon and Delma (Monds) Thompson and her brother Walter. Reta will be deeply missed by her partner Karl Resmer. Beloved sister of Clifford, Arthur and Elsie (Warren). She loved and is loved by her many nieces and nephews. Her special relationship with her nephew Derek, his wife Amy and their daughters Rebecca and Victoria has been a blessing to all. She was the greatest cheerleader and supporter you could ever ask for. She was known as "Aunt Reta" far and wide. Cremation has been entrusted to Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham. A Celebration of Reta’s Life will be held at the family’s home, 5000 Bath Road on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 11:00 – 2:00 pm. Covid-19 restrictions and protocols will be in place.
