We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Goodfellow's Funeral Home
With heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 surrounded by her family. Dalaine will be lovingly missed by her children; Melody (Ron), Dwayne (Denise) and Donita (Brad); predeceased by her daughter, Debbie, and the love of her life, Douglas. Survived by her grandchildren; Jesse, Kayla, Krystal and Kylee and great grandchildren; Colt and Zoe.
Dalaine had many jobs over her long life. She worked for the Forestry out west, as a truck driver and jewelry store saleswoman. She was a very talented artist and taught painting for many years. She also enjoyed writing poetry and gardening. Dalaine will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Jose Lopez and his staff, as well as Magdy Kamel and his team at Purhealth. A special thanks to all of the staff at Whispering Pines for their kindness and support. Thank you Lili and Robin for providing daily TLC. The family would also like to thank the staff at Peaceful Transition for their care and compassion during our time of need.
A Celebration of Life for Douglas and Dalaine Wagar will be held at the Goodfellow's Funeral Home, 11014 Road 38, Parham, Ontario on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00am.
