Beverly June Ruttan (McGinnis)

Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Mom passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the age of 81. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years and lifelong soulmate Ron, children Sherry (Kevin), Mike (Deanna) and Ron Jr (Cathy). She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren, her 13 great grandchildren, as well as her siblings Jean Smith, Bob Kennedy (Anne) and brother in law, Lyle. Mom is predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Florence, mother in law Flossie, daughter in law Marg and brother in law Ray.

She will be fondly remembered by her extended K-Mart family where she was the face of K-Mart Kingston, working the service desk for over 20 years.

At the request of Mom, there will be no service. In Mom’s memory please show kindness. If you choose to donate in her memory please do so – any charity that benefits the lives of children will be rewarded with a heavenly smile. The family wishes to extend gratitude to the many friends and family that showed unwavering love and support. To Rev. Oscar Simpson, Rev Peters and Pastor Ken for their visits, spiritual guidance and kindness. To the KHSC Palliative care team, Dr. Gibbens and her wonderful staff at the Verona Medical Clinic, the nurses from CBI for their professional and compassionate homecare and support and Sherry, who never left moms side during her short yet courageous battle which allowed mom to pass peacefully with dignity at home with those she loved.
